Transportation

Our Mission

The Transportation Department of Martin County School District will provide safe, reliable, caring, and courteous services to students, the school system and the community through the cooperative efforts of well-trained dedicated professionals.

  • All bus routes are subject to change due to student enrollment and scheduled pick up times.
  • If you do not see a time for a morning or afternoon stop, please check other bus routes serving the school your child attends. Due to scheduling, some students are picked up by one bus in the morning and dropped off by another in the afternoon.
  • Please Note: Students are expected to be at the stop 5 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time. In accordance with Florida Statutes parents must arrange for supervision at the bus stop.
  • Request for a bus stop change must be completed on a Form A through your child’s school office.
  • All students must have a signed bus registration card from their parents turned in to their bus driver. The information on these cards is very important to the Bus Driver and Transportation Department in case of an emergency.
  • If your child does not ride the bus regularly, please check with the school to verify pick up times and location.
  • Other questions may be directed to Martin County Transportation Department Office at 772-219-1287 ext 100.

We strive at Martin County School District Transportation Department to keep our web site updated in a timely fashion. Our stops are updated as they are changed. The time will vary due to the number of students that are traveling on a given day. Thank you for your patience and time.

The Martin County School District Transportation Department includes approximately 135 employees dedicated to the safety of our students!
Each school day in Martin County approximately 8,500 students are transported safely between school and home.  In recognition  the district would like to commend all of our school bus drivers, bus assistants, mechanics and technicians for their hard work and dedication each day.

To help increase awareness about School Bus Safety, the Florida Department of Education, Florida Department of Highway Safety, and Florida Transportation Department have launched a new campaign, Stop On Red - Kids Ahead.   This campaign includes valuable information for parents and drivers for keeping children safe on their way to or from school.  In addition, did you know that school buses are among the safest ways to travel?  Click here to learn more.
